SERVICE OF THE LAST SEVEN WORDS

Noon-3:00
Calvary's Good Friday service reflects on the seven last words of Jesus Christ. Music will be provided by a string quartet from the San Francisco Conservatory (performing Joseph Haydn's Die sieben letztzn Worte unseres Erlösers am Kreuze - The Seven Last Words of Christ), while Calvary's pastors - along with special guest pastors and seminary graduates - read Scripture, preach on the readings and lead periods of silent reflection throughout the afternoon.
The service is conducted from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m., and worshippers are welcome to stay for the duration or attend different parts of the service (please enter and exit quietly). There will be no mid-service offering taken; any Good Friday offerings can be left in the basket at the back of the chapel as you depart.
